At Bank’s Apothecary, our daily mission is to fight for patient care. Part of the challenge is having access to medications that are limited to a select group of pharmacies. These drugs are considered Limited Distribution Drugs (LDDs) and they are only granted to pharmacies that show the highest commitment to clinical competencies to improve patient care.
To this end, Bank’s Apothecary works hard on behalf of its patient’s to gain access to LDDs. Today, we’re pleased to announce the addition of Cosentyx to our growing list LDDs for patients. Bank’s is proud to be recognized by the maker of Cosentyx for treatment of its patients in need of this life saving drug. We believe by having access to Cosentyx, our team will be able to treat our patients to a better, healthier life.
Cosentyx is used to treat plaque psoriasis and certain types of arthritis (such as arthritis of the spine, psoriatic arthritis). Cosentyx belongs to a class of drugs known as monoclonal antibodies. It works by blocking a certain natural protein in your body that may cause inflammation and swelling.
We are honored to be chosen as one of the specialty pharmacies with access to Cosentyx. We thank our patients, providers and manufacturers for trusting us to help make the world a healthier and happier place.
