Banks Apothecary is proud to announce we have been approved to be part of a select group of pharmacies that will continue to be in-network with GATEWAY Networks. As of July 1, 2017, Gateway is terminating most pharmacies out of their specialty pharmacy network and is extremely selective of their specialty pharmacy networks.
Only the pharmacies that have gone through the most rigorous of credentialing and specialty training are approved to be part of this network.
Bank’s Apothecary is proud to be part of the Gateway Network to continue servicing your members.
Please keep in mind that patients who are currently with another pharmacy may not be able to fill their injectable drugs after July 1, 2017. Our goal is to provide provider offices with ample notice so as to transition patients to our pharmacy.
“Patients will receive the same high-quality service they have come to expect,” says Banks Apothecary’s Pharmacist in Charge, Sam Maddula. “We will be by the side of physicians through this entire process while waiting for the next prescription for patients. We will send medication within one day of receiving prescriptions to help ensure the optimum level of patient care.”
As always, Banks strives for better healthcare for our patients and an easier process for our providers, and today we feel confident we are closer to that goal.
